About
We believe that all students irrespective of age should maintain their love of learning by expressing their creativity freely while discovering who they want to be or who they were meant to be. The will to learn and the right to discover your passion in life may not and cannot be forced onto you when you are provided with the freedom and self-driven ability to find yourself within a mutual respected community like homeschooling.
Homeschooling is an educational option that allows parents to teach their children at home instead of sending them to school and it has become more and more accepted by the public at large. With a wealth of resources and opportunities available to homeschooling families, and with the ever-increasing number of curriculums, the choice becomes so much more than an everyday selection. This is where The Home School Association of Namibia comes in. As a true Namibian organization, HSAN can offer guidance, support and regulated standards by introducing affiliated international Curriculums through fully registered educational platforms.

I got involved in Education since 1998 and still moving forward. My passion is the progression of the Namibian student in the best possible way for that specific student. I strongly believe that each and every person/student is unique in his/her own way and every one of them should have an equal opportunity in education.

I must say enrolling Jessica in homeschooling has been one of the best decisions we ever made. At school, Jessica’s progress remained extremely limited due to lack of support with her learning difficulties.
Support from HSAN was at all times excellent, in particular from Monja who was always prompt, efficient and friendly. The motivational sessions were a big help too when my daughter was struggling at one stage. A few simple suggestions made all the difference.
